Learn to speak Greek in an easy and efficient way!

Who I am: Γεια σας! I am Katerina, 31 years old and live in Thessaloniki, Greece. I have a BA in Greek Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a grade of 9 and a MA in Sociology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Currently in training to become a mental health therapist. Part-time rembetiko singer. I like reading, walking in nature and listening to music.

My teaching experience: Ι have 9 years of experience with teaching Greek to foreigners in the Open Universities (Volkshochschulen) in Bayern, Germany as well as in private language schools and preparing students for the Examination for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Greek (CGL) and for the Greek Citizenship Examination. Moreover, I am an EUROLTA certified tutor (Foreign Language Teaching to Adults). I speak English and can also communicate in French and German. I have students from all over the world and I love it!

How I work: I tailor the lesson to your needs depending on your learning goal. I teach “by the book” but also outside the box! I am an honest, patient, kind, supportive and empathetic person with good knowledge of learning psychology. And I want you to be able to speak Greek as fast as possible :)

But Greek is a difficult language…: With the right approach, it is not :) Being an successful learner myself, I know first-hand how to learn a foreign language fast and have developed some unique techniques to help you learn in an efficient and fun manner!
